pseudo star's john lennon birthday bash

98-10-09 "The John Lennon Birthday Bash"

-The eighth was cold but it sure was fun. The party started early with Cataclysm rocking out with a long solid set of originals and covers. Merge made a kicking debut on the Gazebo stage. They made their first appearance playing a great set of originals and covers. Covers like Primus's "Them Damn Blue Collar Tweekers". Keep one eye open for this band in the future. Pseudo Star busted onto the stage early at 7:35. The crowd was cold but was ready to rock! The lads kicked er open with Sloan's "The Good In Everyone". They bombed through many of there own tunes mixed with Sloan covers. It was a great show, especially after the Jimi Hendrix Medley when Dylan played his guitar behind his head and with his teeth then destroyed his equipment. Frosty arrived and kill. They ruled, playing their own pumped style of punk rock. They rocked Dresden with their songs and punk remakes of bad eighties tunes. The party was a success. Everyone had a good evening, and a good time. Thank you Dan Holt, Joel Morningstar, Greg "Plucky", everyone that helped us promote the party, everyone that helped clean up, everyone who came out to support the Dresden music scene and no thanks to the Big Fat Jerk that called the police on us.
