pseudo star's the omar's way

98-12-04 "The Omar's way"

- All you people that didn't show up or couldn't get in, you missed a prime performance of local rock and/or roll, let me tell you! December fourth at the UAW Hall was crazy! Grounded's wrestling and Workman's fire extinguishing lunacy before the show foretold the events to come later that night. Cataclysm started the evening off with a bang. As usual they played that jittery voiced alternopunk music that only they can handle. The crowd, especially Tim Janness was most upset that Shemp was reluctant to perform his ritual mooning. Later in a separate room Tim got a ten times dose of Shemp's rear. Welcomed to the stage by none other than Nic Cage(Mark Huston) himself, Pseudo Star barreled into their favourate, "The Good In Everyone" and continued the show with the normal stage antics, and epic rock songs expected from these immature crackheads. Pseudo Star left the stage with and impromptu altered goodbye jam of M Manson's "Sweet Dreams". Then it was Grounded's turn. For all you people that don't know these guys, man they are funny as a rubber ball and all around good guys. Musically Grounded is excellent. Check out their CD and see them at Groundstock. Their UAW hall performance was nothing short of great. It was marked with "I love you Michelle's" and that George Michael tune "Faith". All and all it was a show you should regret not attending. Thank you Cage, thanks Tom and Friend for the wonderful sound, thanks Ron for inviting us, thanks to the people there. Thank you Omar.
